Hello, my name is Karen and I am so thrilled to be joining the Wee Blessings Staff. I grew up in a family of eight in a small farming community in South Dakota. In my adult life we have lived in North Dakota, Minnesota and California and then moved to Chandler in 2005. My family consists of my husband, two adult daughters and three grandchildren. We are so blessed to have all of them near by to share in their very busy lives. It's always been family first for me. I have had several career paths starting with cosmetology, then 21 years in banking management at a V.P. level in the San Francisco area. After moving to Arizona, I joined the Administrative support Team at Macy's in Chandler for 9 years before joining the staff at Wee Blessings. I am so excited to be such a part of such a wonderful program at Wee Blessings and look forward to meeting all of you and your children. It is my privilege to be a part of watching them grow and develop at Wee Blessings!

I have been teaching collectively for about 30 years (grades Preschool, K, 1, 2, 3 & 4). I have always had a passion for teaching. Phil and I have three amazing children Madison (18), Mattie (17), Jackson (13) two Golden Retriever pups named Charlie & Marlie as well as our newest Basset / Beagle puppy Oliver. My children have by far taught me more than I could ever teach them. Director (Queen Creek)
Hi there! My name is Patty and I am so happy starting my third year with our amazing Wee Blessings staff! I grew up in Nebraska and then later moved to Colorado where I met my husband of soon to be 29 years, Dave. We moved to Chandler in 1994 and have two adult daughters, Chelsea and Hannah. I have done many different jobs along my path in life that have given me a lot of valuable experience but for the last 13 years I've been working for the Chandler Unified School District. I started out volunteering when my girls were little and eventually worked my way into para-professional and most recently spent the last 8 years with them as a Registrar and Attendance Technician. I have found that working with children and education seems to be what I love and where I find much happiness . I am beyond thrilled to be here and look forward to meeting you and your family and will be here to help you in any way that you need as we guide your "wee" one on their new journey!

Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am so blessed to be a part of the Wee Blessings family. I grew up in Denmark and lived in Russia and Germany before coming to the United States where my family finally settled in a northern suburb of Chicago. I attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan where I earned a B.A. in Dance and Elementary Education with a minor in the Humanities. I have taught in Illinois, Texas, and Arizona collectively for about 20 years (Preschool through 3rd grade). I am so excited to meet all the families of Wee Blessings and be a part of your child's preschool adventure.
Hi! My name is Hollie Gorden and I am so excited to be a part of the Wee Blessings family. I am from Fort Myers, Florida and have lived in Arizona 13 years now. I received my B.S. in Business Management. My husband, Jeff and I have 3 awesome children, Charlie (8), Sidney (6) and Jase (3). Through my children’s preschool years I had an amazing opportunity to volunteer in their classrooms and that inspired me to work at Wee Blessings. I am so excited to start this new journey and look forward to working with the sweet children who attend the preschool.
Hello, my name is Alex Buck and I am thrilled to be your child’s preschool teacher at Wee Blessing! I’ve lived in Arizona with my husband and 2 children for 4 years now. Prior to joining Wee Blessings, I was a busy certified group fitness instructor teaching Zumba, water aerobics, and youth fitness classes. I taught 8-10 classes a week but had to stop due to a hip issue that prevented me to teach any longer. I then focused my time being a parent volunteer on a regular basis at both my children’s schools for the past 4 years. My daughter graduated from Wee Blessings in May and because of the nurturing teachers and high academic standards Wee Blessings provided her, she is now more than ready for her next chapter…Kindergarten. At the beginning of her second year at WB I was given a teacher’s aide position which made me really appreciate early childhood education. This year I am unbelievably excited to have my own class where I will strive and commit myself to develop your child’s academic growth with a nurturing and fun environment. I’m truly blessed to be able to work and still be highly involved in my children’s academics and juggle their busy schedules. I look forward to continuing my journey with Wee Blessing’s and getting to know you and your amazing children.

Hi! I'm Laurie Burke and I'm excited to be starting another year at Wee Blessings. My two boys, Logan (11) and Lincoln (7) are both Wee Blessings alumni! Through the last 7 years I have worn many hats at the school, including mom, volunteer, classroom aide, 3's teacher and now 4/5s teacher. I have also had the pleasure of working at both the Chandler and Queen Creek locations. I have lived in Arizona since 1994 (by way of Kansas and Pennsylvania). I attended Arizona State for my BA in Journalism and The New York Institute of Photography for a Certificate of Photography. I have worked with children for 18 years in the family portrait industry, including my own business, which has served the photography needs of the preschool for the last 4 years. When I'm not behind the camera or in the classroom, you can probably find me reading, cooking, scrapbooking and relaxing with my family... preferably at Disneyland! I am looking forward to another exciting year of adventures with our students!

Hi! I'm Katie Kendrex and I'm very excited to be returning to the Wee Blessings family, not only as a parent, but as a staff member! My husband of 7 years and our children - ages 6, 4 and 3 - have proudly been with the Queen Creek Wee Blessings since the day it opened. Prior to having kids, I spent a couple of years working as an aide in a first grade classroom, so I am now looking forward to returning to the classroom. I've enjoyed the past few years as a stay-at-home mom and as my children got older, hosting a monthly kiddie craft club in my home. My academic backgrounds in Culinary Arts, specifically baking. I have a love for traveling, staying active, gardening, animals and children's literacy. I'm looking forward to watching all of the kids grow and lean and have the opportunity to be hands on and be a part of their wonderful school memories.
